With advancing years come problems
One of which is poorer hearing,
Yet another is some memory loss -
Where is my other earring?
But even worse than this
Is when you're going out,
And you are in a hurry -
You are looking all about,
Your sunglasses you can't find,
Why aren't they where you left them?
What's happening with your mind?
You rush around, search high and low -
Then you hear the penny drop,
And all at once you know, just yesterday
You left them in a shop.
Now all is well, the problem solved
And you are back on track,
So be careful after shopping,
Be sure your glasses you don't lack.
