Wedding Day

What can be said about weddings

That hasn't been said before?

Every bride is beautiful

As she glides across the floor

To the groom who stands there waiting,

Is he nervous, will he mumble,

When he starts to make the solemn vows

Will he fall, or even stumble?

But women, we know, are made of steel

When it comes to the fateful time.

They may look so demure

But what do they feel,

Do they think of a favourite rhyme?

There are words that they silently say

If it's a church they are in.

So remember this, on your wedding day

"Aisle, altar, hymn".
